My intention is to take two years or so to restore the camper to a 'nearly original' condition. I will keep original those things that make sense to keep original. I won't hesitate to update or modernize if it makes sense to do so. For instance, the upholstery, curtains, carpet, formica, and other decorative items won't be of the original design or material. Mechanical systems will be updated if I think "newer is better" and retained if I decide not to "fix what ain't broke". I don't intend to strive for originality strictly for the sake of keeping it original.
