AD read "Outside very nice 1 small dent in the roof, inside
looks good, no leaks, has all jacks, tires are dry rotting,
just needs a good clean up and a couple pieces of glass in the
windows that are broken. Bath in rear, furnace (needs valve),
stove, fridge etc all original has awning."

| Purchased
in January of 2004 it is a work in progress. This is a rewarding
project but not for the faint of heart or mechanically challenged.
The unit will serve as a spare bedroom and retro conversation
piece at our lake cabin. It is trailer-able and will probably
make a camping trip each summer once complete. I take that back.
It may never be complete hence a work in progress. |

| We started
looking for an airstream. We searched for a decent one for a
good price, we had already decided that we wanted a small one,
under 24 feet. We had discovered all the cool web sites and
even monitored E-bay. One of the web sites we watched had an
Avion come up. it was about an 3-4 hour drive away so we decided
to check it out. |

of the biggest projects in renovating a trailer or truck camper
is dealing with rotted wood. Charlie's project photos have many
good shots showing what it looks like and how to go about fixing
it. In the case of truck campers it often results in a total
replacement of the floor and the wings. |
